Joe cups Kristen's detached ROBOTIC HAND in his hands as Ashley approaches, not quite believing her eyes.

ASHLEY
What is that?

JOE
Part of Kristen. Something to
remember her by.

ASHLEY
Joe, Kristen was a robot. A
machine. You saw her eye pop out.

JOE
(sorrowful)
It broke my heart.

Ashley looks at Joe im disbelief.

JOE
She was everything I wanted.
We got along so well, we
never argued--

ASHLEY
She wasn't real!

JOE
She was better than real. She
was perfect.

ASHLEY
And I'm not.
(beat)
Good-bye, Joe.

Beat. Joe walks away, hand in hand with Kristen's hand. Ashley stands there watching. Roarke comes up behind her.

ROARKE
Cute couple.
