A NEAR-DEAD FREUNDLICH LIES UNCONSCIOUS IN HIS BED. HOOKED TO AN I.V., TUBES COME OUT OF HIS NOSE. A CONCERNED DOCTOR STANDS OVER HIM. BEHIND THE DOCTOR HOVER THE TWO PARAMEDICS.

DOCTOR
He's been out for sixteen hours. How
much sedative did you pump into this man?

PARAMEDIC
I made a guesstimate. They gotta start
giving us more training.

THE TWO PARAMEDICS LOOK DOWN GUILTILY.
