Week Five

And the bandwagon played on. Another week. Another overwhelmingly popular pick. Another cake-walk.

"The Jets... I know, I know. But it's time to do something crazy." --Jeser (RIP)

Winning this pool may involve doing something crazy. But as Mr. Jeser found out, timing is everything. Week Five was not the time to be crazy.

Nor was it the time to be gutsy. DelFavero realized that before Saturday and jumped ship to KC. Well done. But others were not so lucky. 43 people took a loss this week. Carolina and Cleveland were the crappy teams that lost to other crappy teams. All in all, pretty crappy.

And, sad to say, some other folk have joined the beloved Madonna Sullivan in the past two weeks. I am sorry I neglected to give them the proper send-off last week. Behold our deceased...
