Football Pool
Weekly
Update
Week Two
Looks like no one wants to be a pushover
this year. Dallas got game, Carolina won't let you score, Cincinnati
is playing tough, Houston has potential... will no one step up and
let the Ducey Poolers have an easy week?
"Indy wins Week 3 because they're
playing a Florida team." --Hein
In the grand tradition of Miami falling
in Week One, Tampa Bay got blocked to death in Week Two. Add to that
the New York Football Giants leaving 14 seconds on the clock for a
field-goal attempt and you've got 76 more losses.
"I'm not last! I'm not last!
Whoo-hoo!" --Taylor
Let's not call it last. Let's call
it Third Place.
Current standings...
101 in First Place with no losses
241 in Second Place with One Loss
53 in Third Place with Two Losses
0 in No Place with Three Losses
That's right. The good news is that
no one has been eliminated yet. Have faith, you many Third Placers.
It looks to be an unusual season. You never know.
Some important notes:
- Click on [W3] in the First Place chart to get
the running totals of what teams are being picked.
- Picks are due by 12noon PST Saturday.
- Do not repeat any previous picks.
- Do not pick a team with a bye. They will not
win. I guarantee it. No game = no win = a Ducey Pool loss
- Always check back on the website sometime on Saturday to
make sure nothing unexpected has happened to your pick. Fixes can
be made on Saturday if the problem is on my end. Fixes are much harder
to make on Monday.
Get tough out there!
