"You heard it here first... Titans
beat Miami!!" [Baltimore] --Vetri
I heard it there last, too. It's called
the bandwagon, people. Bandwagon. Write it down. And get on it. Never has
picking with the crowd been so successful to start the season.
"Lemmings, we." [Miami] --Nathan
Lemmings, bandwagon, Philly-in-week-4,
whatever you want to call it. It has picked up a big head of steam and is
barrelling across the screen.
"If only I could pick Indianapolis
every week." [Indianapolis] --Taylor~G
Well, you can't. I think we're all up to
speed on that rule, right? Don't pick the same team more than once during
the regular season. The computer won't stop you from doing it, so keep an
eye on your previous picks. And I won't stop you from doing it. I want you
to lose. That hurts, I know, but suck it up. I won't even notice, actually.
It's up to the rest of the pool to catch you. That's one of the reasons your
picks stay posted all season long. If you notice anyone's entry has a repeat
pick in it, let me know and I will mark it as a loss.
That being said, we have some current standings
to report. Happily, no one has been eliminated after three weeks. Not since
2003 have we had a full slate going into Week 4. There has been some separation,
of course. We do have three tiers of players. Remember, your name will move
down the screen as you accumulate losses. But don't give up all hope.As previously
noted, if you survive the entire regular season AND post-season, but are
not a winner, you get your entry fee back. This money will come out of the
jackpot that the winner or winners receive. (I'll stop mentioning this now,
but remind you again as the playoffs begin.)
