Five gentlemen. One role. We gathered at the offices for Viacom in West Los Angeles and waited for our moment to shine. And waited. And waited. They were testing four different roles today, and LEONARD was last. So a big part of the process was maintaining focus for over an hour and a half while sitting in an 11th floor waiting area with nearly 20 actors who all have the potential to make a lot of money, or nothing. One of the other hopefuls reading for LEONARD was a good friend and a talented young actor who I see a lot of good things happening for. We sat and chatted and different times during the long wait. That helped the time go by.
Once in the room, things went swimmingly. I hit all of the beats I wanted to and it felt very good and very funny. It's a cute little scene and I think I do a solid job with it.
Now I just have to do it one more time. I am going on to the Network Test on Tuesday with two other guys. Just hold it together for that one more reading. Just one more...
Go on to the Network
Test.
